The Passing
Katrina's short documentary, The Passing, had its Premiere at Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn (October 2024). Since then, the film has screened and won awards at a variety of international film festivals and won the Audience Award at PÖFF.
Logline:
After learning of the death of her grandfather, documentary director Katrina Lehismäe and her family take a road trip across a frozen Estonia in the middle of winter to the small town where he lived to take care of his affairs and start to come to terms with their own grief.
